I have my first meeting with the teens tomorrow and I have not finished my outline for my ‘presentation’ yet.
“Really, Elizabeth, why do you do this to yourself?!”
I thought the procrastination was supposed to stay at school where I left it but NOOOOOOO it had to follow me into the field.
“Why did you leave me there, Elizabeth? I’m coming to help distract you from life.”
And now that he has caught up with me I am here letting myself become as distracted as can be:
“Anything else on my dash? No? Ok. Well, let’s refresh the page just in case.”
“What new dance moves can I come up with? OOOH, how about moving like the Doctor. YEAH! Let’s learn that one. That one will be cool to use at all those parties I go to…”
“Oh, well I’ve only watched two episodes of Castle today and I really should catch up on the rest of season four. I mean that finale is gonna be a good one to watch, especially after watching the last four seasons in two weeks. Yeah, let’s get that popcorn.”
“Well, I am a little tired. Why don’t I go to bed now and get up early and finish this. Yeah, that should work.”
“Ok, I’ll just do the work now…..”
Repeat until 1 A.M. - 4 A.M. then cram to finish it getting only two hours of sleep
